Description
LambChop Rasbora 1-2CM (ESPEI)
The Harlequin is a charming, small, and vibrant species that thrives in tranquil community aquariums. These fish prefer to be in groups, ideally in schools of 10 or more. In the wild, they inhabit calm blackwater marshes, ponds, pools, and swamps filled with lush vegetation. To create an ideal environment for them in your aquarium, mimic these natural settings. Use a dark substrate and background, and incorporate plenty of dense plants along with pieces of bogwood. Adding floating plants can help soften bright lighting. Ensure that water circulation and filtration are gentle yet effective. They can coexist well with other small, peaceful fish, but be cautious with larger, more active species, as they may stress the Copper Harlequins. They bear a resemblance to Trigonostigma hengeli and T. heteromorpha and are sometimes sold under the names Lambchop Rasbora or Narrow Wedge Harlequin.
