Red Dwarf Gourami 4-5CM

The Red Gourami, also known as Trichogaster chuna or Red Robin Gourami, originates from India and Bangladesh, where it typically dwells in rivers and lakes. This fish thrives in areas abundant with dense vegetation and soft, low-mineral water. It prefers swimming in the upper and middle sections of the tank, making it a suitable choice for novice fish keepers. Considered a peaceful community fish, the honey gourami is recommended for smaller tanks starting from 50 litres. It’s worth noting that male honey gouramis can exhibit semi-aggressive behavior towards each other, so it’s advisable to keep them separated or provide a larger tank with ample space and hiding spots for the males to establish their territories.
