Rosy Loach 3-4CM

The Rosy Loach is a yet-to-be-described species of dwarf loach found in Shan State, located in eastern Myanmar. Its natural environment consists of shallow, inundated grasslands that are consistently sustained due to the damming of springs. In this habitat, the water remains clear and reaches a maximum depth of 30 cm (12 inches), fostering a rich growth of aquatic plants, predominantly species of Anacharis and Elodea. The Rosy Loach coexists with Danio margaritatus, commonly known as the Celestial Pearl Danio or Fireworks ‘Rasbora’, as well as an undescribed species of Microrasbora that bears a resemblance to M. rubescens.
