Red lizard WHIPTAIL 10CM

This loricariid is a lovely and fragile-looking fish that thrives in a calm, softwater planted aquarium. It enjoys being in groups of at least 6 in a well-established tank with plenty of hiding spots among plants, driftwood, caves, and pipes. Make sure the filtration is effective, but the water movement is gentle. Choose tankmates that are similar in size and temperament, such as smaller pencilfish, tetras, Corydoras, or dwarf cichlids like Apistogramma or Mikrogeophagus. Avoid lively tankmates during feeding times, as these peaceful catfish prefer a more relaxed environment.
