The Rabbit Snail, also known as the Elephant Snail, is a fascinating freshwater snail to have. It can make a wonderful addition to a community tank due to its peaceful nature and ability to be active during both day and night. These snails are great at keeping the tank clean by scavenging for leftover food and clearing detritus from the substrate. In addition, they help control algae and consume plant matter, although they may occasionally nibble on aquarium plants like Java Ferns. While they are capable of reproducing in an aquarium, their population growth is not typically fast enough to become a concern
