Jumbo Peppered Cory 5-6CM

Peppered corys are tiny, peaceful catfish that can help maintain the cleanliness of the bottom of your fish tank. They’re also fascinating pets that can make sounds during courtship. One interesting behavior they exhibit is “winking” at their owners; their movable eyes enable them to tilt the eye down and back up without moving their head. They are named after the black spots that resemble pepper sprinkled on their bodies. Similar to other Corydoras catfish, this type may occasionally swim to the water’s surface to breathe air. They have the ability to utilize atmospheric oxygen for respiration, so it’s common to observe them doing this every now and then. It’s recommended to keep them in small groups, as they make a wonderful addition to a community freshwater aquarium.
