The Hovering Zebra Loach, scientifically known as Micronemacheilus cruciatus (previously classified as Yunnanilus cruciatus), is native to Vietnam in Southeast Asia and is a member of the stream loach family. This species predominantly inhabits rivers and streams with gentle currents, in addition to lakes and ponds. Reaching a maximum length of 4 cm, the Hovering Zebra Loach is distinguished by its striking vertical black stripes that cover its entire body, creating a stunning contrast against its silvery to golden base coloratio
